Story
Bois Sikar was born from Jean-Philippe Clermont’s fascination with the world of cigars and the ritual of sharing them over whisky. Inspired by the rich aroma of cigars, the cedarwood of handcrafted cigar boxes, and the smoky, peaty character of Islay whisky, the fragrance recreates the dark and intoxicating atmosphere of an elegant gentlemen’s club. The name Sikar, meaning “to smoke” in Mayan, adds another layer to its identity.

Bois Sikar opens with nutmeg, precious woods, and guaiac wood, creating a dry, spicy, and intensely woody introduction. At the heart, vetiver, styrax, and cedar leaves add earthy depth with a fresh, resinous edge. As it settles, tobacco absolute, cypriol, and incense create a smoky, warm, and deeply sophisticated base, evoking the lingering atmosphere of tobacco and peaty whisky.
